Kelly joined us early in 2016 as a Researcher and has learnt a lot in the past few months. She is the friendly person who calls you when you upload your CV onto a career portal. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a mobile and desktop web app, with a focus on performance. The artistic design will be delivered to you, together with a few HTML templates, but we will ask for your help in regard to animations, CSS, and final HTML output. You will work in a team with the back-end developer, and communicate with the API using standard methods. A thorough understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure is required. We write all our stand alone back ends as restful services or microservices with an API gateway, so no client side interfaces! We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
