LUKAS Illu-Color Inks are an adaptable artistic medium that can be used for a number of different applications. This line of well-balanced colors feature a high lightfast rating, water-resistance when dried, and are all inter-mixable. Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks are fast drying, water resistant and transparent. They can be applied with a brush, dip pen or airbrush. The 26 colours include Liquid Indian Ink; a water based solution of traditional Chinese stick ink. This is the standard lettering ink used by calligraphers (this is not water resistant). This product is equally suitable for dip pens used in calligraphy. Gloss Glaze Medium can be mixed with paint to increase gloss effect. It can be used in combination with tempera paints to improve the colour and life span and render it waterproof.125ml bottle. It can be used on its own or blended with dala gesso to provide ground for oil or acrylic paints and is ideal for achieving a low cost impasto surface. Dala Gesso dries to a matt, toothy finish that can be sanded to provide a smooth ground. A slow drying, gloss medium which is ideal for fine detail work, glazing and smoothly blended areas with no brush marks.Reduces consistency & improves flow.Suitable for oiling out & enriching dull patches.Resistant to yellowing. Artists' Picture Cleaner is a liquid which is designed for the cleaning of varnished paintings and is an excellent product for this purpose. This medium also reduces drying time and can be used ina mixture with linseed oil and is excellent for laying down the early stages of painting.250ml bottle. Artist's Painting (Alkyd) Medium reduces drying time by up to 50% and is very good for under-painting, but also create beautiful, textured washes.250ml bottle. Liquin Impasto -Speeds up drying of oils and alkyds. Improves flow and increases translucency.Excellent for glazing. It is a clear liquid which dries to a non-yellowing glossy film. A pale yellow varnish which dries to a high gloss for use on oil and alkyd paintings. It tends to darken with ageing and is removable with Distilled Turpentine.Quick drying. A superior quality artists matt varnish which represents the very latest in varnish chemistry.It is water white and remains readily removable for over 100 years with White Spirit or Turpentine. Dries quickly to a non-yellowing film, does not bloom or crack. Refined Linseed Oil is the most popular oil and offers many of the same qualities as Cold Pressed Linseed Oil, but is slower drying.
