Tastebuds started in 2012, after owner Lesley Jones made the decision to leave the restaurant industry to pursue her dreams in catering. She owned and ran Speza Mediterranean restaurant based in Kloof in the Upper Highway Area for about 3 years prior to opening Tastebuds. Tastebuds has grown from strength to strength, specializing in a wide variety of different styled functions and food. We have also just started a small hiring division offering up-market equipment which is steadily growing and expanding. Tastebuds catering has a wide selection of menus, we are most famous for our gourmet snacks, served butler style. Tastebuds has just started a small hiring division. We offer quality and up market equipment, including tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware. We offer you catering and hiring under one roof to help you create the best event possible. In the small amount of time that our hiring division has been open, we have had many satisfied customers, who say the stress of organizing their event has been drastically reduced due to our easy and professional hiring division. This also saves the stress of knowing what equipment you will require to suit your chosen menu. At Tastebuds we work with you to tailor make a catering solution to suit your occasion and needs. We will provide you with anything you need to make your event an occasion to remember, be it a large corporate affair or an intimate home event. All of our catering dishes are made with only the freshest, local produce and when available we use organic ingredients. It would certainly be a great opportunity for us to create something fresh and funky together. Nothing beats a traditional South African potjie, slowly cooking while friends and family relax and make memories whilst sipping on an ice cold beer or a glass of wine.
